  I recently was in a bit of a slump while working on one of my smaller game projects. Managed to convince my girlfriend that anyone can be a designer and gave her one of my sketchbooks to just try sketching out puzzles/levels with. She eventually put out some awesome ideas. 
  
  As a result of this I really want to try squeeze in a level editor, even as a patch after I release it or something, just so anyone can try make levels. I really would love to see the creative approaches to the simple mechanics that I couldn’t dream up myself and how many inappropriate levels that take the shape of a penis eventually exist, obviously.

  HTML5 & iOS games

  Started looking heavily into it today, seems pricey to start up and compete with millions of other apps $100ish for the apple developer, and then $100 or so for appmobi (unless phonegap works well first i guess). Still worth investigating, will have to find a way to get a small amount of funding to get it on the store to start with though it seems, as I’m too poor for what most people would see as spare change I’m sure :P

  Ludum Dare - Day one

  So It was a late start into the first day and most of it was spent thinking, starting a concept and then binning it, so I decided to ditch all my super creative ideas for now and got into making a little puzzle platformer (of which i assume there will be lots of this year). Had fun spending ages figuring out how to get the gravity to work, and managed to fix a major issue with it just a second ago, anyway here’s some screenies, link to play the game so far is at the bottom, beware its broken.
